Leo Duff is an illustrator and exhibitor of freelance illustration work. She is Head of MA in Drawing as Process at the University of Kingston, and a researcher primarily in drawing based subjects. She is a member of the council of the Association of Illustrators and is involved in the Loughborough drawing research project.
She also studied at Brighton and then the Royal College of Art, moving from photography and communication to illustration. Her work is concerned with a sense of place, being centred in the main on buildings and their environment. Leo generally works to commission, with exhibted work developed from the locations visited for these projects. She has created and is director of the MA, Drawing as Process, at Kingston University where drawing research is focussed on the use of drawing for and by designers.
