Iain Grant
Iain Grant's research interests include post-Enlightenment European philosophy, contemporary philosophy, the history and philosophy of science, the philosophy of technology, technology as a cultural agent, the philosophy of the body, and the history and problems associated with the autonomization of the human and socio-cultural sciences with respect to the physical.

He is coordinator of the Philosophical Studies award at the University of the West of England, and teaches ancient and modern philosophy, and metaphysics. He also runs courses on cyberculture at undergraduate and postgraduate level, and on the body. He has supervised undergraduate and postgraduate dissertations on a wide range of topics in cultural theory, the sciences in culture, science fiction, cyberculture and technology, and welcomes interest in pursuing any of these areas.
