Pat Brereton is a Senior Lecturer in the School of Communications at Dublin City University, having worked for almost a decade in the UK before coming back to Ireland. In 2007 he was appointed Associate Dean of Research for the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences and is committed to cross-disciplinary research. He has published three books alongside a growing number of academic articles on all aspects of film and new media and continues to enjoy teaching at undergraduate and postgraduate level.
