Julian Ward

Julian Ward teaches Chinese Studies at the University of Edinburgh. Research interests include travel writing, particularly in the travel diaries of Xu Xiake. He is currently teaching courses on both traditional literature, including Tang and Song poetry and Ming vernacular fiction, and modern poetry and literature. He is co-editor of the Chinese Cinema Book which will be published in May 2011.
