Timo Jokela works as Professor of Art Education in Faculty of Art and Design at the University of Lapland and is Head of the Department of Art Education. He also works as an environmental artist, using natural materials – wood, snow, ice – or the local cultural heritage as a starting point for his works. He is responsible for several national and international action research projects in the field of art education.
