Tiziano Bonini (1977), Ph.D. in Media and Public Sphere (Siena University, 2008). He is a researcher in media sociology  at IULM University, Milan, where he teaches Radio Theory. He wrote a book on the history, the aesthetics and the social uses of web radio (2006). His last book, Così lontano, così vicino (Ombre Corte 2010) is about migrants, media and the sense of 'home'. He was one of the contributors of the recently published book Radio Content in the Digital Age. (Intellect 2011). He also works as a freelance radio producer for Italian public and private national radio.
