Katrien Berte

Katrien Berte worked as a researcher and Ph.D. student at Ghent University, Research Group for Media and ICT (MICT), Department of Communication Sciences. Her research interests lie within media economics, iDTV, advertising and new media. She finished her Ph.D. studies in 2010 entitled 'Advertising in a Digital Media Environment: challenges and opportunities for advertising on iDTV'. She is currently working as a senior project manager for the Centre for Information for the Media (CIM). She joined the Industry Committee and is responsible for both the TV and Internet audience measurement studies in Belgium.
