Dr. Caroline Chapain is a Research Fellow at the Centre for Urban and Regional Studies at the University of Birmingham. Her main research interests include local and regional economic development, creative industries, digital cities, economic restructuring and plant closure and public policies. Caroline has been involved in a variety of projects looking at creative industries at the local, national and European levels. She is one of the coordinators of the RSA Research Network on Creative Regions.
