David Harte is a Senior Lecturer in Media and Communication at Birmingham City University, where he has developed strong links to the regional development agency running a major creative industries support programme on their behalf and contributing to the development of regional clusters. He has recently completed a secondment with Birmingham City Council as Economic Development Manager for their Digital Birmingham programme.
