Walter C. Ihejirika

Walter C. Ihejirika did his postgraduate studies at the Pontifical Gregorian University, Rome, where he obtained a doctoral degree in sociology of communication. He is a senior lecturer in communication studies in the Department of Linguistics and Communication Studies, Federal University of Port-Harcourt, Rivers State Nigeria. He also teaches pastoral communication at the Catholic Institute of West Africa, Port-Harcourt, Nigeria. His research interests include the interface between media, religion and culture, development communication and youth media, especially with regard to new information and communication technologies.
