Dr. Michael Lowis is a chartered psychologist, and currently Visiting Fellow, Occupational Sciences, The University of Northampton. His research interests include the psychology of music, the psychology of humour, and life satisfaction in the later years. He is the author of over 70 academic papers and conference presentations, and is called upon by the media from time to time for specialist opinion. He is also an amateur musician.
