Sarah Lightman

Sarah Lightman is an artist and curator currently researching a Ph.D. in ‘Autobiographical Comics and Graphic Novels’ at The University of Glasgow. She has written on autobiographical comics and visual diaries for Studies in Comics and The International Journal of Comic Art. She is cocurating ‘Graphic Details: Confessional Comics by Jewish Women’, which opens at The Cartoon Art Museum, San Francisco in October 2010. Sarah also chaired the conference Women in Comics II at Leeds Art Gallery, in November 2010.
