Simon Morley

Simon Morley is Lecturer in Fine Art and Programme Leader, MA in Fine Art at Winchester School of Art, University of Southampton. His special interests are the interaction between word and image, the sublime, abstract art. Over the last ten years he has exhibited his paintings internationally. Author of Writing on the Wall: Word and Image in Modern Art (Thames & Hudson/California University Press, 2003) and Documents in Contemporary Art: The Sublime (Whitechapel Art Gallery/MIT Press, 2010).
