Kathy Marzilli Miraglia is an Associate Professor of Art Education at the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth and Chairperson of the Department of Art Education. She has published in Visual Arts Research, Educational Leadership online, and Art Education. She has delivered numerous papers and presentations at international, national and state conferences. Her research focuses on interdisciplinary studies, integrated curriculum and teacher education and preparation.  She is also an exhibiting artist.  Her figurative paintings and drawings focus on women's stories.
