Jill Nelmes

 Jill Nelmes is a lecturer and writer who has had a number of screenplays in development. She studied screenwriting at UCLA and was a script reader in Hollywood from 2003 to 2005. She is also editor and contributor to Introduction to Film Studies, and a fifth edition is to be published this year. Her research interests are focused on screenplay and include the development process and textual analysis of screenplays. She is Principal Editor of the Journal of Screenwriting, editor and contributor of Analysing the Screenplay (Routledge 2010) and has just finished The Creative Sceenplay and Screenwriter in British Cinema (BFI/Palgrave 2012).
