Bernadette O’Rourke

Dr. Bernadette O'Rourke lectures in Spanish and Intercultural Studies at Dublin City University, Ireland. She completed her Ph.D. in 2005 which was entitled 'Attitudes towards Minority Languages: An Analysis of Young People's Attitudes towards Irish and Galician'. Her research interests include minority language issues (with a particular interest in Spain and Ireland), language policy and planning, language and identity, multilingualism, intercultural communicative competence and language learning.
