Gerald Sim
Gerald Sim (Ph.D. Iowa) is assistant professor of film studies at Florida Atlantic University, where he specializes in American cinema, national cinema and critical theory, and is helping to develop the international cinema curriculum. His recent writing on Asian cinema appears in Film Quarterly and Inter Asia Cultural Studies. An earlier essay on Takeshi Kitano was also published in a previous volume of this journal. He has a forthcoming article on CNBC personality Jim Cramer in Rethinking Marxism.
