Dr Ping Wei is a Lecturer in Economics in the Bournemouth Business School. Her research interests cover industrial networking, firms’ competitiveness and governance, and applied business economics. She has worked on the Birmingham jewellery quarter. She completed her Ph.D. studies at the University of Birmingham. Prior to joining at the Bournemouth University, She worked as Research Assistant at Birmingham Business School, and was involved in international cooperation with the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. Since 2002, She has travelled to the United States, France, Spain, Bulgaria and Italy to present academic reports in international conferences.
