If your passion matches our passion begin by writing a few short pieces for one or more of our journals.
Contributions are unpaid and each journal has an independent editor who makes a decision on what to include
in his/her journal. After you have chosen the journal that meets with your interest, please email the
relevant editor with a proposal and go from there.

Write a book or edit a collection of essays as a book
We publish in the areas of Film Studies, Theatre and Performance, Art and Design, Media and Cultural Studies. However, an Intellect book goes beyond the specialist in a given field to cover others who have a multi-disciplinary interest in these topics. Intellect does not publish textbooks aimed at undergraduates. Intellect books are not aimed at the educated reader at large. For us to look at a book proposal seriously we need you to complete an Author Questionnaire. Please can you send the completed form to our Book Publisher, May Yao.

Propose a new journal
We are interested in being the publisher of new journals if they support and expand the focus of our existing publishing programme in Creative Media. For a journal to develop there is normally a period of interaction, which is best done by personal emails, phone conversations and meetings.
