The Journal of Chinese Cinemas is pleased to announce the winner of the Special Prize for the Best Article by a Postgraduate/Graduate School Student in 2009/10. The winning article is “Star Discourse and the Cosmopolitan Chinese: Linda Lin Dai takes on the world” by Brian Hu (University of California, Los Angeles). The essay will be published in Issue 4.3 in autumn 2010.
