Arden Sherman

Arden Sherman is a curator and writer currently living and working in Brooklyn, NY. Arden acted as interim director of the Laband Art Gallery at Loyola Marymount University in Los Angeles from 2011–2012. Her exhibitions include Return to the Sea: Saltworks by Motoi Yamamoto (2012), The 770 Show (2011), and We have as much time as it takes (2010). She has published in various catalogues and institutional publications including SFMOMA Open Space blog (2013), less like an object and more like the weather (2013), Americana (2012), HSz: as is/as if (2010). She curates the online exhibition project, Mise en green, which is a rolling presentation of installation photographs featuring potted plants in the gallery space (www.miseengreen.com).
