Xiaoyu Weng

Xiaoyu Weng is a curator and writer based in San Francisco. She has organized exhibitions and events for venues such as the CCA Wattis Institute for Contemporary Arts, Yerba Buena Center for the Arts, the Asian Art Museum, Kadist Art Foundation, Queens Nails Project, and the Minsheng Art Museum in Shanghai. She was granted a residency by the Gwangju Biennale Foundation in South Korea in 2010, and the Artforum Critical Writing Award in 2011. She publishes regularly in Artforum online, Leap and Art World Journal. Weng also directs the Asian Contemporary Arts Consortium in San Francisco and the Asia Program for the Kadist Art Foundation.
