Subscriptions and access information
Subscriptions are available as either print and online (institutional) or online only. Single issues are print only.
All Intellect journals are hosted by our online hosting partner, IngentaConnect. Access can be set up via IP or password (for remote access) or both.
Online access is multi-site and multi-user, provided all sites of the subscribing institution are administered under one central administration, and are within one country, there is no limit to the number of users, provided all users are affiliated to the subscribing institution. Please contact us, providing details of FTEs, if access is required for sites in more than one country.
Access via Ingenta Connect can be set up in two ways. You may choose one or both methods of authentication.
- IP address/range (users accessing from computers within an IP range defined by the site administrator) - You may need to consult your network administrator for this information. Please ensure IP address ranges for all sites are included to ensure access
- User name and password
Institutional print and online, and online-only subscriptions include perpetual access for the year/volume purchased only – back issue access is not included unless part of a collection. Back volume access can also be purchased. If purchasing the full back volume, archive discounts are available for seven or more volumes.
If your institution does not already hold an IngentaConnect registration, you can register and activate your institutional journal subscriptions by going to: https://www.ingentaconnect.com/register/institutional
If your institution is already registered on IngentaConnect simply log into your account and request access to your Intellect subscriptions. For full instructions download this PDF
Instead of a separate licence agreement, all Intellect journal sales follow the SERU guidelines, as published at the NISO SERU website:
