Heli Aaltonen

Dr Heli Aaltonen is an associate professor of Drama and Theatre Studies. She is a theatre researcher, performing storyteller and theatre/drama educator with a specialization in applied theatre practices, arts-based research methods, and encounters between ecology and performative art forms. She has long experience in intercultural and multilingual youth theatre and storytelling practices. She is interested in using applied theatre practices to explore relations between non-human and human life forms, and narratives of nature. She
