Martin Patrick

Martin Patrick, an art critic and historian, is Senior Lecturer of Critical Studies at Massey University in Wellington, New Zealand. His writings have appeared in publications including Afterimage, Art Journal, Art Monthly, and Third Text. He has taught as a Visiting Assistant Professor at the University of Chicago. Two of his essays were included in One Day Sculpture (Cross and Doherty
(eds) 2009), and he is currently working on a book that examines artists who engage with the art/life divide.
