Nicholas Tresilian
Nicholas Tresilian, MA, F.R.S.A., is an art-historian, broadcaster and media entrepreneur. Founding director of TV and radio companies including Classic fm, the world’s largest classical music station. A long-standing activist of the UK’s pioneering Artist Placement Group, with a personal APG archive at Tate Britain. A member and former Vice-President of the International Society for the Study of Time. He lectures and publishes on the evolutionary relationship between the visual arts, the mass media and the human ecology. His current work-in-progress, ‘The evolution of western art’ is available in synoptic form on his website at www.nicholastresilian.com. He lives in Bath, UK and Córdoba, Spain.
