Iolanda Tortajada

Iolanda Tortajada (Ph.D.) is a senior lecturer at the Communication Studies Department, Rovira i Virgili University. Her research interest lies in inequalities of access to and representation in the media, specifically regarding ethnic
minorities and gender issues. Currently, she is coordinating a basic research project sponsored by the Spanish Ministry of Science and Innovation entitled
“Media and gender violence: encouragement or prevention?”, a reception study that deals with SNS and discourse analysis of TV series and music videos.
