Suzete Venturelli
Suzete Venturelli completed her doctorate in Arts and Sciences of Art at University Paris I Sorbonne in 1988, and a Masters in the Histoire de l’art et Archeologie at the Universite Paul Valery, Montpellier III, France, in 1981, with a dissertation on Candido Portinari: 1903–1962. She has a Bachelors in Drawing and Plastic from Mackenzie University in Sao Paulo. Since 1986, she has been a professor and researcher at the University of Brasilia and has developed work in computer art. She has participated in conferences and exhibitions with an emphasis on the relationship of art with computer science and communication technology. Her publications include espaço_tempo_imagem, published by the University of Brasilia in 2004, and Interactive Image in 2008, together with Mario Maciel. Her scientific, technological and artistic interests involve computational art, art and technology, virtual reality, virtual worlds, animation, digital art, interactive virtual environments and imaging.
