Aims and Scope
The Journal of Applied Arts and Health (JAAH) serves a wide community of artists (e.g. applied theatre, dance, educational and community work), arts therapists, researchers, practitioners and policy-makers in the area of applied arts and health.

The journal intends to evidence the effectiveness of the use of arts in health and arts for health. It provides a forum for the publication and debate within an interdisciplinary field of arts in healthcare, health promotion and well-being.

The journal defines ‘health’ broadly which includes physical, mental, emotional, spiritual, occupational, social and community health.

The journal is double-blind peer-reviewed.

The journal is supported by the International Expressive Arts Therapy Association (IEATA).
