Author Pat Francis running workshop at ADM-HEA conference

Author and academic Pat Francis, is set to run a workshop focusing on 'inspiring creativity in, and through, writing' at the ADM-HEA's third learning and teaching day this summer (09/07/2009) at Southampton's Solent University.

Pat Francis is a specialist in the area and has recently completed a book focusing on the subject: Inspiring Writing in Art and Design: Taking a Line for a Write (Intellect 2009).

About the event
ADM-HEA’s third learning and teaching day this summer will feature film director Ken Russell in conversation with TV and Radio entertainment presenter Briggy Smale.  This  forms part of the Creative Practice learning and teaching day and the formal framework of the event will include presentations, workshops and networking opportunities, covering a broad spectrum of issues and concerns across the art, design and media sector with innovation and creativity as the overarching theme.

In addition, the event will cover issues such as the ADM fellowships, visual plagiarism, creative practice, working across disciplines, the changing landscape of the art, design and media curriculum - and so much more!
