Intellect at NeMLA

Intellect joined a crowd of 1,300 at the 42nd annual convention of the Northeast Modern Language Association (NeMLA) in New Brunswick, NJ April 7-10th. Hosted by Rutgers University, (The State University of New Jersey) the event drew scholars from across North America and Europe. This was Intellect’s first time attending and participants were immediately drawn to our book and journal display. While Intellect was a new name to many, attendees were clearly excited to learn more about our commitment to emerging disciplines and original thinking. The journal of Horror Studies received a great deal of attention as did Transnational Cinemas. Thank you to those who allowed me to sit in on their panel discussions and came by to learn more about publishing with us. I encourage you to contact me ( to discuss your book proposal or contributing to one of our peer-reviewed journals.
