Intellect will be attending the AATE conference in Chicago this week
Including a special Applied Theatre event

Back by popular demand!  Join Juliana Saxton, award winning co-editor of Applied Theatre, for a book signing at this year’s American Alliance of Theatre Education event in Chicago.  Juliana will be discussing her blockbuster book on Friday, July 29th at the Intellect exhibit from Noon to 2pm.

The AATE conference at the Renaissance Downtown Chicago Hotel runs from July 26-31st and provides theatre educators, playwrights, practitioners and performers a venue to discuss and share cutting edge techniques and practices in performing arts today.
Applied Theatre, last year’s AATE Outstanding Book of the Year, is a pioneering work examining the impact of drama brought into the community as a catalyst for change.  This book details critical case studies with a historical and theoretical overview, and includes practical hands-on activities and exercises.
Last year’s author signing was a tremendous success—so please come by and meet Juliana as well as Intellect’s Jessica and Amy next week in Chicago.
