Signs of Change

"Your vocation, your life work, is 'where your deep gladness meets the world's deep need'. "- Frederick Buechner

Joan Lazarus celebrated with some of the 200 master educators who contributed to her new book, Signs of Change: New Direction in Theatre Education, during the Texas Theatre Education Association’s convention in Houston, Texas. The book signing was a complete success—it was hard to spot the author in the mix! Joan thanked colleagues, shared her hard won wisdom with attendees, and signed copies of this highly anticipated book. Already receiving rave reviews, Signs of Change is geared to novice and experienced teachers alike, and offers up-to-date best practices in theatre education. This is the first title of Intellect’s new Theatre in Education series.
Amy and Elizabeth extend their thanks to Eric, Jenny, and the rest of the conference organizers for letting them participate in the exciting 3-day TheatreFest event, which included performances, competitions and technique-driven workshops. Congratulations to TETA for a wonderful conference—and see you next year in Dallas!
