David O Brien
David O Brien is a Ph.D. candidate and a teaching fellow at Maynooth University. He holds a BA in philosophy, politics and economics (PPE) and an MA in modern and contemporary philosophy – both from Maynooth University. His primary research is a critical engagement with transhumanism – as a philosophy and cultural movement – within a framework based in philosophical anthropology, and with a specific focus on the philosophy of Max Scheler.
