Raúl J. Vázquez-López
Raúl J. Vázquez-López is an independent researcher. His research emphasis is in the production and consumption of Puerto Rican cultural symbols and literature. His work has appeared in journals such as Dress and Fashion, Style & Popular Culture, and in edited volumes like The Meanings of Dress (Bloomsbury, 2019) and Transglobal Fashion Narratives (Intellect, 2018). Along with José Blanco F., he is the co-author of the book Dress, Fashion, and National Identity in Puerto Rico (Bloomsbury, forthcoming 2024). He was born and raised in Puerto Rico. He is the marketing manager for Bloomsbury Academic.
